Point cloud technology
APAXA uses the latest in advanced 3D laser scanning technology. Both high-resolution HDR images and colored dots in XYZ coordinates are recorded.
The result of 3D scanning is a so-called point cloud, which is a collection of millions of points that describe surfaces in detail and accurately. In the point cloud, you can take measurements, orientate yourself, plan and carry out "digital inspections" for the project.
Solutions and integrations
When using a pointcloud, you have accurate measurements available at all times. You can analyze areas, structures and buildings, plan and carry out "digital inspections" and much more. The pointcloud can also be used as a base to produce 3D models and CAD data.
A point cloud can be exported in different formats and imported into e.g. Navisworks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Solidworks, Tekla etc. as well as in freeware programs and online viewers. We are available to guide you with your needs and possibilities.
